ABOUT THE PROJECT

This full-house renovation included the main floor, basement and eventually the front exterior (coming soon!). This home was completely modernized with fresh paint, vinyl plank flooring, lighting and plumbing fixtures. The main living space was completely opened up by removing the wall that was dividing the kitchen and living room areas. The window in the kitchen was relocated to allow for additional upper cabinets and a large island was added as the focal point of the room. A colourful turquoise subway tile was used for a pop of colour and open shelving in walnut adds richness and warmth while complementing the new wood dining table. A graphic black and white patterned floor tile injects life and personality to the main bathroom and is now much more functional with the addition of floating wood shelving. No renovation is complete without adding to the entertaining space in the basement, and in this home a wet bar was installed with a bold blue wall tile in a herringbone patternThe fireplace in the basement also received a facelift with new tile and wood mantel. The dated gold metal on the fireplace was professionally painted black and looks new!
